A test conducted in October 2021 involving the release of an inert tracer gas at 250 meters depth in the Cabot Strait to study sub-surface water mixing and distribution patterns, providing data on how injected oxygen could disperse in marine environments.

Research initiative led by oceanographer Doug Wallace investigating the deployment of oxygen byproducts from green hydrogen production to revitalize oxygen-depleted zones in the Gulf of St. Lawrence and restore marine ecosystems.

Planned hydrogen and ammonia production facilities in Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, utilizing wind power as the renewable energy source. These facilities are intended to support the Gulf of St. Lawrence revitalization initiative.
