Automated gigawatt-scale electrolyser stack manufacturing refers to highly automated production lines capable of assembling electrolyser stacks with an annual output equivalent to around 1 gigawatt of electrolysis capacity.[1] Such facilities aim to standardise components, increase throughput, and reduce unit costs, similar to gigafactories in battery manufacturing.[3]
