Hydrogen vehicle storage and supply systems typically use high‑pressure composite tanks (often 350 bar or 700 bar) along with regulators, valves, piping, and safety sensors to deliver hydrogen fuel to either a fuel cell stack or a combustion engine.[11][15] For motorsport and demonstrator applications such as at Le Mans, dedicated refueling infrastructure and safety procedures are implemented to manage leak detection, ventilation, and emergency shut‑down given hydrogen’s low ignition energy and tendency to disperse rapidly.[8][11]

The Maserati Nettuno is a 3.0‑liter, 90‑degree twin‑turbocharged V6 petrol engine developed in‑house by Maserati and introduced in the MC20 supercar, featuring a pre‑chamber combustion system inspired by Formula 1 technology to improve efficiency and performance.[2][14] In standard gasoline form, it uses both direct and port fuel injection and advanced ignition control to deliver high specific power while meeting contemporary emissions standards, marking a technological centerpiece of Maserati’s modern performance lineup.[2][14]
