Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs)

Vehicles that combine two energy sources: a mechanical internal combustion engine and an electrical motor/battery system. HEVs feature smaller gasoline engines than traditional vehicles and use efficient technologies such as regenerative braking and start-stop systems to achieve better fuel economy and performance.
