Ammonia (NH3) is used as a fuel for ship engines, emitting no carbon dioxide when combusted. It is energy-dense, scalable for long-haul ships, and benefits from existing global infrastructure due to its use in agriculture and chemical industries.

Engines developed by CMB.Tech that can operate on traditional fuels as well as ammonia, providing transitional flexibility during the industry's shift to alternative fuels.

Propulsion configurations that are designed to be converted into fully functioning ammonia engines as adoption of the fuel accelerates, allowing for future retrofitting.
