A process where microorganisms break down biodegradable materials in the absence of oxygen. In the Muckbuster, this process is used to digest waste and produce methane.

Process to remove impurities from raw biogas produced by anaerobic digestion, resulting in a product that is over 98% methane suitable for use as fuel or integration into natural gas grids.

Northern Missouri

An $80 million waste-to-energy biogas project in Northern Missouri that converts hog manure from 88 lagoons into renewable natural gas using anaerobic digestion technology. The project also incorporates cover crops as additional feedstock.
