Hychor’s Hydrogen Seawater Electrolysis Technology (HySET) is a proprietary electrochemical system that produces green hydrogen directly from seawater without an intermediate desalination step.[1][2][4] It is marketed as a compact, on-site and off-grid solution that can use renewable electricity to generate small daily quantities of hydrogen (on the order of a few kilograms) for coastal and remote applications, aiming to reduce both capital and operating costs compared to conventional freshwater electrolysis plus desalination.[1][4]
