Go-Ahead Group

A pioneering fleet of hydrogen fuel cell buses deployed in the Crawley, Horley, and Gatwick Airport area by Go-Ahead Group. The fleet consists of 54 zero-emission buses manufactured by Wrightbus, with 20 initially deployed and 34 remaining to be delivered.

A hydrogen fueling technology using liquid hydrogen instead of gaseous hydrogen. Liquid hydrogen is denser than gas, allowing more fuel to be stored in the same volume.

A technology that combines hydrogen and oxygen in a clean, electrochemical process to generate power, releasing only water vapor as a byproduct.

A liquid hydrogen refueling station located in Crawley and operated by Air Products. The station will be the largest of its kind in Europe at full capacity and is designed to serve the Go-Ahead hydrogen bus fleet.
