Irish Sea, off west coast of Great Britain

Large-scale wind turbines installed in the Baltic Sea to harness wind energy for electricity generation. The project will use approximately 200 turbines.

Dong Energy's planned world's largest offshore wind energy system to be located in the Irish Sea approximately 12 miles off the west coast of Great Britain, expected to generate enough energy to power 500,000 homes.

Expansion of Dong Energy's existing Walney Island wind farm with the addition of 87 wind turbines to significantly increase capacity beyond the current 367 megawatts.
